I’m a music lover from the Scottish Borders, now living in Glasgow, and yes, that’s where the name comes from. Bold As Love, after the Jimi Hendrix song.
I’m all about music, parties, great food and good times, so photographing weddings felt like a no-brainer. What better way to spend your time than being part of joyful, slightly chaotic, love-filled celebrations, camera in hand, soaking it all in?
I bring a calm presence when you need it, plenty of energy when the party kicks off, and I’m always looking for the real moments: the laughs, the hugs, the dancing, the stuff you didn’t even realise was happening at the time.
If you want relaxed, honest photos taken by someone who genuinely loves a good wedding and fits right in on the day, we’ll get on just fine.
My approach
I photograph weddings as they actually happen. No awkward posing, no constant interruptions, and no making things feel staged. I let the day unfold naturally while I focus on the moments that matter most.
I’m there to blend in, keep things relaxed, and capture the laughs, the nerves, the hugs, and the dancing exactly as they felt. When guidance is needed, I’ll step in calmly and keep things moving. When it is not, I’ll fade into the background and let you enjoy your day.
The result is honest, story-driven photography that feels real, personal, and full of life. Photos you can look back on and instantly remember how it all felt.
